Storyteller and author Cherie Karo Schwartz co-wrote with Barbara Rush the JPS book The Kids’ Catalog of Passover many years ago. The award-winning book is filled with stories, crafts, poetry, songs, and traditions from almost 30 countries, and new celebrations. Learn about how the Yemenite floor-table became the seder plate, and the tradition of the Caucasus embroidered seder plate tablecloth. Cherie will share some worldwide Pesach stories, and we will discuss their uses. We will have a roundtable on new celebrations. Come learn many esoteric, engaging ideas to enhance your teaching of Passover and your own celebrations.
